Mary Schapiro, Vice Chair of the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero and former Chair of the US Securities and Exchange Commission, delivered the Greening Finance Prize Lecture at the University of Oxford.

She shared her experiences in leading the development of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), emphasizing the importance of consistent, comparable, and decision-useful climate-related financial disclosure.

Her lecture underscored the critical role of transparent reporting in accelerating the transition to a net-zero global economy.
