Chief Strategy Officer, Alliance for Water Stewardship
Scott McCready is Chief Strategy Officer for the Alliance for Water Stewardship. AWS is both the custodian of a sustainability standard system for major users of water, and a multi-stakeholder membership alliance comprised of the diverse organisations operating at the cutting edge of water stewardship.
Based in London Scott leads on participation in the AWS Standard System, including on strategic engagement with private, public, and civil society organisations, actors and influencers. Scott has a degree in Politics from the University of Glasgow and a Master’s in water governance from Kings College London. Prior to AWS he worked for NGO WaterAid and in the private sector.
