Senior Policy Advisor, Financial Stability division of de Nederlandsche Bank (DNB)
Julja is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Financial Stability division of de Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Before joining DNB, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an advisor to banks on prudential regulation and then as an economic researcher. At DNB, she started as a banking macroprudential policy specialist before becoming involved in the topic of nature-related financial risks.
She is now leading a project on nature-related scenario analyses for the Netherlands, and co-chairing a Eurosystem initiative on the topic of nature-related risks. She is also contributing to international work on the topic of nature, such as the NGFS Taskforce on Nature. Julja holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certificate from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
